Notices: thank you note from SMIF for contribution; RPVCC 4th quarter activity report; MDOT Hwy 30 bid will be let on 2/25/22; MDOT will invoice City based on bid prices; City to complete bond process in time to pay MDOT by May. Airport t-hangar bid letting 2/17/22 final specs at city hall and on Quest CDN, review bids at 2/28/22 meeting.
Report from Fire Chief, Chad Rasmussen. Approve Fire Officers, Relief Assoc. Board members, meetings and events, training, workshops and seminars. Approve increase for hourly rate of reimbursement for firemen for training and call time. Approve increase for fire officers. Discuss relief fund raising and equipment purchased; discuss emergency equipment purchased with various donations.
Approve Resolution thanking RCF, Legion, Lions, Booster, VCrest Riders for donations for fire emergency equipment.
Approve memo on selection process, pay and start date for hiring Tiffany Jacobson for Deputy Clerk/Accounting position.
Discussion on $9.00 increase in flower basket price; hold decision to check on prices from other growers or vendors to supply baskets and to check on availability of manpower for watering baskets.
