REPLACEMENT T-HANGAR
Sealed bids, subject to the conditions contained herein, will be received by the City of Rushford, Minnesota, until 11:00 AM on Thursday, 17th day of February 2022. Proposals shall be submitted to the City Clerk, 101 North Mill Street, P.O. Box 430, Rushford, MN 55971. The City of Rushford will meet at 6:30 PM on Monday, February 28, 2022, in said Council Chambers to consider the bids submitted for the T-Hangar Building and Associated Site construction project.
A pre-bid meeting will be held on Wednesday, February 2, 2022, at 11 a.m. via conference call only.
The meeting materials and call-in number will be distributed to all plan holders prior to the pre-bid meeting. The pre-bid meeting is not mandatory, but attendance is strongly encouraged.
Any bidder must meet the minimum criteria established for a “responsible contractor” as defined in Minn. Stat. § 16C.285, subd. 3 in order to be eligible to be awarded this construction contract or to perform work on the project. The right is reserved, as the interest of the City of Rushford may require, to reject all bids, to waive irregularities and informalities in bids received and to accept or reject any bid.

Each bid proposal shall be made out on the form furnished by the City of Rushford and obtained from Mead & Hunt, Inc., 7900 International Drive, Suite 980, Minneapolis, Minnesota 55425 through the Project’s posting on www.questcdn.com. Proposals must be accompanied in a separate sealed envelope by either certified check drawn on a solvent Minnesota bank, a bid bond executed by a corporation authorized to contract as a surety in the State of Minnesota, or a share draft drawn on a solvent Minnesota credit union, in an amount not less than 5% of the bid amount. The work under this contract for this construction shall be started within ten (10) days after the “Construction Notice to Proceed” is issued. Work shall be completed by December 31, 2022.
