The special meeting of the Rushford-Peterson School District #239 was called to order by Vice-Chairperson Joyce Iverson at 5:30 p.m. on Monday, November 8, 2021, in the Rushford-Peterson Schools Forum Room, 1000 Pine Meadows Lane, Rushford, MN 55971.
The Pledge of Allegiance was recited.
Members Present: Matt Helgemoe, Joyce Iverson, Jeff Michel, Bonnie Prinsen, Ken Sawle, and Amy Woxland.
Members absent: Chris Grindland
Administration Present: Superintendent Jon Thompson
District Personnel: Laura Hahn
Motion by Michel, seconded by Prinsen to adopt the agenda. Motion carries unanimously.
2021 School Board Special Election Results (total # of votes received for each candidate) Carl Schollmeier – 274, Beverly Helleland – 34, Nancy Snyder (write-in) – 216
Motion by Michel, seconded by Helgemoe to adopt the Resolution Canvassing Return of Votes of School District Special Election. Motion carries with a roll call vote of 6:0.
Motion by Woxland, seconded by Michel to adopt the Resolution Authorizing Issuance of Certificate of Election and Directing the School District Election Clerk, Laura Hahn, to perform other election related duties. Motion carries with a roll call vote of 6:0.
