Motion by Iverson, seconded by Michel to adopt the agenda. Motion carried unanimously.
Motion by Woxland, seconded by Prinsen that masks will be recommended to start the school year. If a student comes into close contact with a positive COVID case, whether at home or at school, they will need to quarantine for five days regardless of vaccination status or masking situation. If, after five days, the student or staff member tests negative, they may reenter school. If a family chooses not to be tested, then a 14-day quarantine period is required. Students or staff who test positive should remain at home for 10 days after onset of symptoms or positive test, and are fever free for 24 hours without medicine. The R-P COVID team has authority to make necessary changes based on percentages of positive COVID cases (7% in a certain cluster of the school building). With a roll call vote of 7:0, motion carries unanimously.
