August 11, 2021 by Fillmore County Journal

Glenda Schott Scrabeck obituary, Fillmore County Journal

Glenda Lee Schott Scrabeck passed away on August 4, 2021. She was born May 30, 1962, to Marvin and Dora Schott. She was a very strong woman who fought hard to stay alive for her children and grand children.

She battled cancer for a long time and later, other medical conditions. She will be loved and missed by so many people.

Glenda had married Carl Scrabeck, Sr. in August 1980. They had two boys and later divorced.

She is survived by her children: sons Jerry (Lana) Scrabeck of Canton, Minn., and Carl Jr. (Erin) Scrabeck of Ackworth, Iowa, and stepson Marcus Jr. (Leah) Tucker of Rochester, Minn.; seven grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Glenda is also survived by four brothers: Jim (Deb) Schott of Fountain, Donnie Schott of Rochester, Dale (Cindy Meyer) of Eden Valley, and George Schott of Preston, two sisters, Jean (Warren Stevens) Schott of Mabel, Minn., and Cara Schott of Rochester; and many nieces and nephews she loved very much.

She is preceded in death by her parents, grandparents, one brother, one sister, two nieces, and several uncles and aunts.

A celebration of life will be held in September.
