Receive annual report from Jane Overstreet of Southern MN Initiative Foundation (SMIF).
Consent Agenda and notices: verified claims and fund summary report; review RPVCC upcoming events list; Root River Jams Flyer, Rushford Music Series Flyer; receive Certificate of Appreciation for Community Water Fluoridation 50 Year Award; received notice of Small Cities Assistance Program for street funding for 2021; reviewed annual 2020 TIF Report; discuss policy for use of airport courtesy car, setting 10 mile radius as limit of travel.
Review Bluff Land Tri COVID rules for DNR approval; approve City support and insurance coverage for activities in City’s park area.
Approve Cooperative Agreement with Fillmore County for Design and Construction of Canoe Launch Access Road; County to act as Fiscal Agent for the funding.
Approve resolution transfer power of LBOAE to Fillmore County for open book review. City may reinstate in future with adequate training and notification.
Approve purchase of Lot 2, Blk 2 in Himlie Business Park by Horihan Properties, LLC; full price on land, half cost of remaining infrastructure fees. Same terms as last year’s sale of land
Closed meeting to discuss with EDA potential purchase of Farmer’s WIN Coop; review offers/counter-offers and next steps. Decision made to stay with original offer with the amount, terms and conditions as outlined in the original agreement and this is City’s final offer. Farmers Win requested best offer by 7/28/21.
