CITY OF SPRING VALLEY COUNTY OF FILLMORE STATE OF MINNESOTA NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING ON THE
ESTABLISHMENT OF TAX INCREMENT FINANCING DISTRICT NO. 1-15 AND
BUSINESS SUBSIDY FOR KAPPERS FABRICATING
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the City Council (the “Council”) of the City of Spring Valley, Fillmore County, Minnesota, will hold a public hearing on Monday, February 8, 2021, at 6:00 p.m., at the Spring Valley City Hall, 201 South Broadway Avenue, in the City of Spring Valley, Minnesota, relating to the (a) the proposed creation of Tax Increment Financing District No. 1-15, (b) the adoption of the Tax Increment Financing Plan relating thereto, and (c) the proposed Business Subsidy to Kappers Fabricating, all pursuant to and in accordance with Minnesota Statutes, Sections 469.174 to 469.1794, as amended (the “Act”) and the requirements of the Minnesota Business Subsidy Statutes 116J.993 through 116J.995. Copies of the Tax Increment Financing Plan and Business Subsidy Contract, as proposed to be adopted, will be on file and available for public inspection at the office of the City Administrator at City Hall.
The property included in Tax Increment Financing District No. 1-15 is described in the Tax Increment Financing Plan on file in the office of the City Administrator. A map of the proposed Tax Increment Financing District is set forth below:
All interested persons may appear at the hearing and present their view orally or in writing.
