Chatfield Public Schools
Special School Board Meeting
Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, the special meeting of the School Board of Independent School District No. 227, Olmsted, Fillmore and Winona Counties was held on Wednesday, July 29, 2020 at 6:00 p.m. via ZOOM videoconferencing. Others Present: Ed Harris, Gail Gilman, Randy Paulson, Shane McBroom. The meeting was called to order at 6:00 p.m. and opened with the Pledge of Allegiance. Roll call was taken with the following members present: Jeffers, Isensee, Priebe, McMahon, and Lowrey.
Action/Discussion
Gail Gilman (MSBA) summarized the self-assessment data and commented on changes from the previous year. Board members and the superintendent responded to her comments as asked clarifying questions. Many of the goals set last year during this process were met. Gail was complimentary of that and of the overall function of the Board.
The superintendent presented the annual Long-Term Facility Maintenance expenditure projection for approval. He explained that this is an annual submission to MDE and that next year’s expenditures will closely mirror this past year. Motion to approve the FY21 LTFM plan by Isensee, 2nd by Priebe, discussion, passed, 5-0.

Motion to adjourn by Lowrey, 2nd by McMahon, discussion, passed 5-0.
Meeting adjourned at 7:50 pm.
