Lawrence Melvern Slattum, born November 6, 1931, age 86 of Eagan, Minn., passed away Thursday, April 12, 2018.
Funeral services will be held 5 p.m., Monday, April 16, 2018, at Trinity Lone Oak Lutheran Church, 2950 Highway 55, Eagan, Minn., with visitation one hour prior. Interment was at Fort Snelling National Cemetery in Minneapolis.
Lawrence was preceded in death by his parents Melvin and Evelyn Slattum, sister Lorene (Vern) Gokey, and first wife Jennett (Hogstrom) Slattum.
He is survived by his wife Ingrid (Sanden) Slattum, daughter Karen (Slattum) Dyson of Victoria, Minn., grandson Nick Dyson, grandaughter Hannah Dyson, son Paul (Gloria) Slattum of Dresden, Germany; daughter Kristin (Dave) Scott, granddaughters Amanda Scott and Rachel Scott, and grandson Caleb Scott, of Lakeville.
