The ten TRC schools took on their conference track and field meet. St. Charles’ boys (200) took first over RPH (159.5), C/SG (141), PEM (113), and Chatfield (98). The PEM girls (188.583) topped Chatfield (146) and RPH (121.833). Chatfield, Rushford-Peterson/Houston, and Caledonia/Spring Grove each came away with multiple champions. The highlight was the exploits of a Tro-Cane freshman. Aubryana Boldt came away with three individual championships (100-hurdles > 15.99, Long Jump > 16’10”, Triple Jump > 34’7”). Ryan Prinsen (1,600 > 4:47.57) and Dalton Hoel (800 > 2:07.82) also won events, as did the boys 4×800 (8:34.04 > Prinsen, Tyler Betthauser, Matthew Sprague, Hoel). Taking second for RPH were Quintin Betthauser (110-H), Brielle Rasmussen (100), Sydney Torgerson (Discus), and the boys 4×400 (Q-Betthauser,

Area athletes Anna Kivimagi of Chatfield, Madison Simon of LFCMC, and Lauren Queensland of GMLOKS are neck-and-neck in a leg of the 4×800 at the Section 1A True Team Meet. The teams finished four-five-six in the event (GMLOKS, LFCMC, Chatfield), but all three qualified for the state meet. GMLOKS won a section title and Chatfield and LFCMC made via Wild Card entry.

Alex Wedl, Prinsen, Hoel). Q-Betthauser (300-H) and Rasmussen (200) added thirds. Thus, making All-TRC were champions Boldt, Prinsen, Hoel, T-Betthauser, and Sprague plus (on points) Q-Betthauser, Rasmussen, Torgerson, Wedl, Grady Hengel, Ava Helgemoe, Gregg Gile, and Casey Herek. C/SG had a double champion in Fischer Wait (200 > 23.35, 400 > 50.82). The boys 4×100 (44.72 > Eli Staggemeyer, Gabe Curley, Owen Staggemeyer, Josh Beardmore) and 4×200 (1:32.05 > E-Staggemeyer, Beardmore, O-Staggemeyer, Fischer Wait) also won their races (beating nearest foe Chatfield both times). The 4×200 set the conference record. Tysen Grinde won the High Jump (6’2”) while adding a second (T-Jump) and a third (L-Jump). Taking second for the Warriors were Josh Beardmore (100, L-Jump) and O-Staggemeyer (200). E-Staggemeyer (100) added a third. Making All-TRC were thus champions Wait, Beardmore, Staggemeyer, Staggemeyer, Curley, and Grinde. For Chatfield, the girls 4×100 (51.40 > Savannah Peterson, Lauryn Daniels, Evy Goldsmith, Jaelyn LaPlante) and 4×200 (1:48.92 > same as 4×1) each took first. Individually, Sam Backer (100 > 11.28) and Lexi Kivimagi (800 > 2:31.09) won titles. Taking second for the Gophers were LaPlante (200, High Jump), L-Kivimagi (1,600), Anna Kivimagi (300-H), Aletta Strande (3,200), Blake Thompson (Discus), the boys 4×100 (Isaac Erding, Thad Evans, Eli Hopp, Backer), 4×200 (Erding, Hopp, Evans, Backer), and the girls 4×800 (Strande, Charlotte Oeltjen, Arianna Dornink, A-Kivimagi). Thompson (Shot Put) and Oeltjen (3,200) added third places. Thus making All-TRC were champions L-Kivimagi, Daniels, Peterson, Goldsmith, LaPlante, and Backer, plus (on points) Strande, Oeltjen, A-Kivimagi, Dornink, Hopp, Evans, I-Erding, Thompson, Adia Evans, Gabe Erding, Treyton Lanning, Alex Rowland, and Keegan Patton.
