Felony Charges
Troy Alan Bothun, 24, of Chatfield was charged in District Court with burglary, theft, and receiving stolen property.
According to court records, it is alleged that Bothun and two other men were involved in the theft of tools, valued at $2,500, from a rural Fountain shed on May 2, 2006. Some of the items were later pawned in Rochester. Bothun was released on his own recognizance awaiting his next court appearance on October 30, 2006.
Keith Eugene Kolden, 36, of Spring Valley, was charged in District Court with burglary, criminal damage to property, disorderly conduct and possession of drug paraphernalia.
According to the complaint, Kolden kicked in the door of a residence belonging to another man and threatened him.
Kolden' remains in jail, awaiting his next court appearance on October 30, 2006.
