Felony Charges
Gregory Lawrence Clark, 36, of Dodge Center, was charged in Fillmore County District Court on June 11, 2007, with one felony count of possession of a controlled substance - methamphetamine. He is also charged with possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, and no proof of insurance, all of which are misdemeanors.
According to the criminal complaint, it is alleged that on April 29, 2007, a vehicle owned by Clark, but driven by another man, was stopped in Jordan Township. An outstanding warrant led to the arrest of the driver, and a subsequent search of the vehicle led to the discovery of the controlled substances. There were four adults present in the car.
Judge Robert Benson released Clark on his own recognizance pending his next court appearance on July 9, 2007.
Also charged in the case was Dennis Terry Keckhafer, 43, of Stewartville, another passenger in the car. He was charged with one felony count of possession of a controlled substance - methamphetamine.
