On April 27, 2009, according to court documents, Winona resident Zachary David Zabrowski, age 30, faced seven counts, including two felonies and five misdemeanors, from an April 23, 2009 incident allegedly involving a victim residing in the Rushford area.

Zabrowski appeared before Judge Robert R. Benson, facing several counts: one count of second degree burglary with a maximum penalty of 10 years imprisonment and a $20,000 fine, or both, one count of domestic assault with a maximum penalty of five years or a $10,000 fine, or both, along with one gross misdemeanor and four misdemeanor charges.

Zabrowski was not released and his bail was set at $5,000 conditional and $20,000 unconditional, with expectations of staying out of Rushford, MN. for the next 12 months.

Judge Benson set Zabrowski's next court appearance for May 4, 2009.
