John G. Rein and Mark Holmen, both of Lanesboro have been elected as delegates to the 126th Annual American Angus Association® Convention of Delegates, and Philip Abrahamson, also of Lanesboro has been elected as an alternate angus delegate for the November 16 convention in Louisville, Kentucky, reports Bryce Schumann, CEO of the American Angus Association.
Rein, Holmen and Abrahamson, members of the American Angus Association with headquarters in Saint Joseph, Missouri, are three of 366 Angus breeders who have been elected by fellow members to serve as representatives to the annual meeting.
The annual event is held in conjunction with the annual banquet and the Super Point Roll of Victory Angus show on November 16-17 during the North American International Livestock Exposition.
