As part of its adult reading program, Hot Reads for Cold Nights, Preston Public Library invites the public to join a local book club in their discussion of "The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society," by Mary Ann Shaffer and Annie Barrows, on Tuesday evening, February 2, at 6:30 PM. This book is a charming story set in post WWII England and Channel Islands and is about an author who decides to write a book describing the German occupation experience on Guernsey Island during the War.
