In an effort to provide greater reach for advertisers in the Fillmore County Journal, the newspaper has expanded its distribution into strategic high traffic locations beyond Fillmore County, in communities such as Eyota, Lewiston, Rochester, St. Charles, Stewartville and Winona.
Just as increased distribution into the Decorah market has proved beneficial since October of 2008, the Fillmore County Journal team feels that increased distribution in the aforementioned Southeast Minnesota communities will help clients increase their exposure.
Whether readers are looking for classified advertisements, news about the happenings of Fillmore County, the value of real estate in the area, or a great place to dine or shop, distributing the Fillmore County Journal in Winona County, Houston County, Olmsted County and Winneshiek County helps to promote the area.
Along with the 16-percent increase in distribution with expansion in to Chatfield and Ostrander on June 22, 2009, the newspaper staff feels this increase of an additional 5-percent in distribution helps to promote the beautiful area of Bluff Country. As the Fillmore County Journal makes this investment in the growth and prosperity of Fillmore County, there will be no additional increases in advertising rates - anticipating a mutual support and benefit for participating businesses.
