The average beverage vending machine costs around $300 in energy costs to operate each year. By installing a small, simple device called a VendingMiser on your machine, you can reduce your machine's energy usage by 46 percent and save approximately $130 per year on energy costs!
Typically a VendingMiser costs roughly $179, but between now and May 1st, 2010, you and your organization or business can participate in a statewide VendingMiser Bulk-Buy Program that will reduce this cost to $164 - AND your utility offers an additional $50 rebate!
To participate, simply fill out our online form: http://tinyurl.com/VendingMiserOrders.
"The people of Preston are very fortunate to have a utility offering a $50 rebate for vending equipment controllers. A VendingMiser is a simple little device that lowers the energy use of a beverage vending machine without affecting its performance," says Lissa Pawlisch, CERTs Statewide Coordinator. "We've tried to make the ordering simple and easy to understand. This is your chance to take action and save big."
The average beverage vending machine runs more often than is needed to keep drinks cold and attract customers. A VendingMiser reduces operation and compressor maintenance costs on the machines, and takes about three minutes to plug in and stick to the back of a machine.
This statewide VendingMiser Bulk Buy Program is an effort of the Clean Energy Resource Teams (CERTs), EnergyMisers, LLC, and Minnesota Waste Wise's Energy Smart. Our goal is to place 200 VendingMisers on cold-drink vending machines, resulting in energy savings of over 335,000 kilowatt hours per year-which amounts to roughly $26,800 is savings. Sign up today so that you and your organization can benefit from these energy and cost savings!
