On April 10th, youth from the Fillmore Free Methodist Church placed first at the North Central Conference Bible Quiz Finals in Platteville, Wisconsin.
The Fillmore team of Katie Roberts, Lydia O'Byrne, Corrin Lee, and Maggie Kiel was undefeated through all five rounds of team competition. Katie Roberts served as team captain and earned the maximum number of points allowed for an individual in this competition. Lydia was the second highest scorer on the team. In separate individual competition divisions, Corrin placed first, Katie second, and Lydia third. The Bible quizzers jumped off electronic chairs to earn an opportunity to answer questions from the biblical books of First and Second Corinthians. Fifteen teams from Illinois, Iowa, Minnesota, and Wisconsin participated in this tournament.
