The Commonweal Theatre Company will offer American Sign Language Interpretation performances of all five of its main stage productions this year. All interpreted performances are during weekend matinees at 1:30 p.m. and will be performed by Gail Devereaux.
Patrons can see ASL performances of Henrik Ibsen's John Gabriel Borkman on Sunday, May 2nd; the heartwarming Enchanted April on Saturday, August 14th; the hilarious comedy Picasso at the Lapin Agile on Saturday, September 18th; the haunting Turn of the Screw on Saturday, October 16; and the nostalgic family drama Little Women on Saturday, December 11th.
American Sign Language Interpretation services are provided in part by the VSA arts of Minnesota Access to Theatre Project. The Commonweal offers half-price tickets to hearing-impaired and hard-of-hearing patrons.
The Commonweal's brand new facility is also equipped with assisted listening devices, available for every performance. For more information about accessibility at the Commonweal, contact the box office at 800-657-7025 or email tickets@commonwealtheatre.org.
