On Arbor Day, Friday, April 30, at 8:30 a.m., area fifth graders will plant trees at POET Biorefining in Preston, MN, and take seedlings for planting at home. The effort is part of POET's corporate-wide Arbor Day initiative.
Trees are nature's original biorefineries converting solar power into usable energy. At POET Biorefining, we want to celebrate that relationship by incorporating more trees into the landscape at the plant, and we're happy to have the help from area students.
