June 24, 2014 County Board Meeting

The Fillmore County Board met in special session at the Courthouse in the City of Preston. All members were present. Also present were the Coordinator/Clerk, and other department heads and staff, citizens, and two members of the press.

The following resolutions were adopted by the Board:

RESOLUTION 2014-030: 2014 Fillmore County Performance Measurement program goals

RESOLUTION 2014-031: Continued participation in MN Office of State Auditor Performance Measurement program

The Board approved the following agenda items:

• the amended agenda.

• the following Consent Agenda:

1. June 10, 2014 County Board minutes.

2. Renewal of On Sale and Sunday Liquor license for Brennaville Inc. dba Old Barn Resort & Golf Course.

3. Payment of 3rd quarter invoice to Olmsted County Community Services for DFO Community Corrections 2014 appropriation.

4. Approve overnight stays for two appraisers for training required for AMA licensure course.

5. Successful completion of probation for Debra Leutink, Eligibility Worker.

6. Merit increase for Debra Leutink, Eligibility Worker.

7. Successful completion of probation for Scott Johnson, Eligibility Worker. .

8. Merit increase for Scott Johnson, Eligibility Worker.

9. Successful completion of probation for Julie Schreiber, Account Technician.

• award low bid from Midwest Contracting for township bridge replacement projects on Kodiak Road and Jet Road, Carimona and Fountain Townships.

• award low bid from Midwest Contracting for township bridge replacement project on Kind Road, Carimona Township.

• amendment to Equal Employment Opportunity Policy.

• amendment to Effective Date of the policies page.

• hire Brian Soland as replacement 1.0 FTE Highway Maintenance Specialist I.

• hire Jesus Perez as an intermittent part-time dispatcher.

• request to retire from Louise Kleiboer, Social Worker, effective July 31, 2014.

• renewal of Hauler Agreement with Winneshiek County.

• I-Series, 5 year maintenance agreement from ACS Enterprise Solutions/Xerox.
