TASTE OF MINNESOTA ANNOUNCES MORE THAN 100 HOURS OF NONSTOP LIVE MUSIC

ST. PAUL, Minn. (May 20, 2010) -Taste of Minnesota will rock the Harriet Island riverfront with more than 100 hours of live music and a lineup that's bigger, bolder and better than years' past.

"This year's lineup at the Taste of Minnesota is unlike anything this festival has ever seen and it will truly appeal to music lovers from all genres," said Andy Faris, co-owner and managing partner of the Taste of Minnesota. "There is more music from a wider variety of artists and Taste will literally be jamming all day from 11 a.m. when the gates open until 10 p.m. every night."

While last year's Taste of Minnesota had music programmed on two stages, this year's Taste will have five stages including, The Main Stage, City Pages' Big Music Tent, BT's Party in the Park Stage, The Red House Records and KFAI Stage, and the Family Entertainment Village Stage. The following is a breakdown of artist performance times and stages:

In addition to the extensive music lineups, the Taste of Minnesota will also be featuring twice as many restaurants as last year including Crave, Barrio, Bubba Gump Shrimp Co., Seven Sushi Ultralounge and many more. The Family Entertainment Village will feature an unprecedented line up of activities for the whole family including NBA Nation featuring appearances by NBA stars, a mobile skate board park, and performances by Circus Juventas.
