ST. PAUL, Minn. – State Representative Greg Davids (R-Preston) has learned that the Minnesota Department of Employment and Economic Development (DEED) has awarded a Greater Minnesota Business Development Public Infrastructure Program grant for the City of Preston.

“I commend the local and state officials who worked hard to secure this funding,” Davids said. “This project will help create jobs while providing needed financial assistance to the City.”

The $350,000 grant will help create infrastructure in a new industrial park with two potential businesses, Bluff Country Manufacturing and JMS Agronomics, seeking to move or expand their current operations to this area.

Davids said this award will provide the necessary resources for continued economic growth and enhance employment in the community and surrounding area.
