The Houston County American Dairy Association will host the 20th annual Breakfast on the Farm on Saturday, June 12, from 7am - 11:30 am. This year's hosts are the Stan and Bev Meyer Family who live two miles west of Eitzen, MN, on Portland Prairie Rd. The breakfast will include pancakes, sausages, yogurt, cheese, milk, juice, coffee and milk shakes. A free will donation will be taken. The morning will be filled with fun activities for the entire family. This years contests include the clergy Milk-a-Cow contest, the Little Farmer Dress Up Contest, the Dairy Bake Off (cheesecake), Pedal Tractor Races, Bale Throwing, and the Blindfolded Obstacle Course. All contests can be entered the morning of the breakfast. Other activities will include hayrides, calf petting, tractor display, children's cow milking and much, much, more. Though everyone is encouraged to attend, a special invitation goes out to all city dwellers to experience a morning on a farm.
