ArtHaus will host its Sixth Annual Art Auction on Friday, May 2nd at T-Bock’s Upstairs. The event is widely anticipated for its impressive array of original artwork, offered in live and silent auction, to raise money for the ArtHaus Youth Scholarship Fund. This year’s auction is generously sponsored by T-Bock’s.

The doors open at 6:30pm to the silent auction, a cash bar, hors d’oeuvres (provided in part by Rubaiyat Restaurant and Trout River Catering), and live music. The entertainment opens with an ensemble of ArtHaus students including Aidan Spencer, Lydia Hayes, Clara Kittleson, and friends, then features the women’s a capella ensemble, “Beautiful Mess,” until 8pm when the live auction begins.

Guests may bid on an impressive collection of artwork from 6:30-9pm, featuring pottery, jewelry, woodcuts, paintings, drawings, fiber work, glass, and much more, created and donated by outstanding regional artists. The live art auction begins at 8pm, with auctioneer Joe Gavle.

Tickets for the fundraiser are $15 in advance, available at ArtHaus and the Oneota Community Co-op, or $20 at the door. Proceeds support the ArtHaus Youth Scholarship Fund and the many free and low-cost community arts events presented by ArtHaus throughout the year. For more information, call 382.5440 or email
