Come set sail on an exciting High Seas adventure! Kids ages Pre K-6th grade are invited to High Seas Expedition and plunge through rugged waves and experience the deep, rolling waters of God's love. Join us June 7-10 at Mabel First Lutheran Church. Climb aboard from 6:00-8:00 pm each evening. Families are invited to a kick-off supper from 5:00-6:00 pm on Monday June 7. Families and community members are invited to the Floating Finale Thursday, June 10 at 8:00 pm.
High Seas Expedition exploring the Mighty Love of God is an exciting way for kids to learn more about God's mighty love. We'll help kids discover how to see God in everyday life-something we call God sightings. They will also enjoy hands on Bible adventures and daily video visits with Chadder Chipmunk. They will learn that God's Love is true, comforting, surprising, life-changing and for everyone. They will sing catchy songs, play exciting games, make amazing crafts and enjoy wacky snacks.
Our service project to share God's Mighty love will be the Mabel Area Food Shelf. Each day students will be encouraged to bring items for the food shelf or cash. An offering will also be taken at the Floating Finale.
Sponsoring churches: Mabel First Lutheran, Mabel and Newburg United Methodist Churches, St. Olaf Catholic Church, and Scheie/Garness Lutheran Churches with financial support from the Area Council of Churches. Registration forms are available through these churches. All kids are welcome to walk in and register on June 7th. Questions? Call Pastor Mary at 507-493-5587.
