Posted in Harmony Health & Wellness

The blood drive held in Harmony on April 1, 2014, succeeded in collecting 47 units of blood, exceeding its goal by nine. There were 48 presenting donors and one first-time participant. Congratulations to these donors who reached the following milestones:

•Lovina H. Hershberger – 1 gallon

•Ernest Kinneberg – 13 gallons

•Randy Mohs – 9 gallons

•Diana Nelson – 2 gallons

•Ralph Schansberg – 10 gallons

•Freeman S. Yoder – 5 gallons

The bloodmobile is sponsored by the Harmony American Legion Auxiliary, and many of the volunteers are Auxiliary members. However, numerous volunteers from the community also help make our blood drives successful. Thank you to everyone for your continued support in this worthwhile effort.

The next bloodmobile will be in Harmony on Tuesday, July 15, 2014. If you’d like to schedule an appointment, please call Marilyn Bratager at 507-937-3406 or schedule one online at
