ST. PAUL, Minn. – Senator Jeremy Miller of Winona, Minn. plans to take advantage of the state legislature’s Easter/Passover break next week to travel around Senate District 28 and meet with residents, schools, businesses and nursing homes.

“Meeting with and listening to the people who are directly impacted by state laws and regulations and working together to find workable solutions is a critical part of the legislative process and one that I really enjoy,” said Miller. “Many of the residents I will be meeting with have called my office, emailed in and have even visited me at the Capitol to share their stories. It is very refreshing for me to be able to visit with them in district and get a firsthand look at how legislation affects their businesses, schools and communities.”

Senator Miller’s schedule is as follows:

Tuesday, April 15:

•2 p.m. Sauer Health Care, Winona

Wednesday, April 16:

•9:30 a.m. Tweeten Lutheran Healthcare Center, Inc, Spring Grove

•11 a.m. Caledonia Public Schools, Caledonia

1 p.m. La Crescent Public Schools

Thursday, April 17:

•9:30 a.m. Sunshine Foods, Spring Valley

•11 a.m. Lanesboro Economic Development, Lanesboro

•1 p.m. Rushford Foods, Rushford
