You can either do it yourself, or hire someone to do it for you. Sure, doing it yourself seems to cost less, but does it really? You find a company that will provide the domain registration, hosting and templates for you to put your website together. You spend hours trying to figure out how to make it work. You finally get some information on the website and make it live. Then you want to make updates and you have to figure it all out again; more time. What is your time worth? Did you make a website that represents your business the way you want it to? How does it look compared to your competitors? You could hire a friend or employee who knows a little about websites and they get a website up for you. Where are they in a few years? When you hire a professional, you are hiring years of knowledge and experience. Not only can they make a website for you, they can offer advice, provide graphic design and photo editing, deliver the message you want, attract the users you need, able to make updates quickly, and provide technical support, ultimately saving you time and money as well as representing your business better . Today, websites are proving to be the first impression for potential clients and customers. What impression is your website making? Or worse, No website = No impression.
