Sheriff's News Release: Fire at the Fillmore Central High School - May 19, 2010

The investigation has been completed on the fire that occurred at the Fillmore Central High School in Harmony on May 19th.
The Fillmore County Sheriff's Office and the Minnesota State Fire Marshall's Office have concluded that the fire started in a control box in the boiler room.
According to Fillmore County Sheriff Daryl Jensen, the fire was the result of an apparent electrical malfunction inside the control box that eventually spread to an adjacent work station in the boiler room.
No one was injured in the fire. The boiler room received significant damage and the classrooms in the area were damaged from the smoke.
No damage estimates were available at the time of this news release.
