ST. PAUL, Minn. – The 2014 legislative session will begin in a few days, and State Representative Greg Davids (R Preston) wants to know how the public feels about several issues that have made or will be making news at the State Capitol.

“The majority party and Governor Dayton chose to raise taxes and fees on all hardworking Minnesotans last session, and they’re now debating whether to put even more tax increase proposals on the table,” Davids said.

“I want residents to let me know if they think our state is headed in the right direction when it comes to tax increases, Obamacare, and spending choices. In order to best represent the interests of Fillmore and Houston counties, I strongly encourage everyone to respond to this session survey and share their views.”

Davids said his 2014 legislative questionnaire will appear as an advertisement in this newspaper. Once completed, it can be clipped out and mailed directly back to Representative Davids.

Davids also invites anyone to contact him with comments or concerns during the 2014 session. He can be reached by phone at (651) 296-9278. He can also be contacted via e-mail at, or via U.S. Mail at 283 State Office Building, St. Paul, MN 55155.
