I've learned about false advertising, (which is bad), and I also learned how to use D.A.R.E. to make wise decisions that can affect my future. It's important to know that not all advertising tells the truth, and from this bad decisions can be made. It impacts me because all this information is very useful and can be brought to light in tempting situations that may lie ahead of me in my future. The information learned also contains many interesting facts that will strengthen my common sense and future decision making. The program was easy to learn from and I enjoyed the guest speaker very much. When an actual person tells their personal story it affects me even more.
D.A.R.E. once again has taught me valuable information concerning peer pressure, harmful chemicals, false advertising and the tools needed to make "healthy" choices for my future. I have learned both meanings of D.A.R.E. and have been educated on different scenarios and the consequence they can bring. I believe this is a necessary and helpful program for all youth and can greatly impact each and everyone's life choices.
