Posted in Education

Summer is here! Come on down to the library and participate in the summer programs, or just check out a good book! All teens ages 13-18 are invited to participate in the Teen Summer Reading Program at the Chatfield Public Library. The Teen Summer Reading Kick-off Party will be held on June 17, 2010, from 6-8:30pm. Activities will include: henna temporary tattooing, Zen Doodle, jewelry making, bean bag toss, laser tag, board games, and much more. Teen reading logs will also be available starting June 15, 2010. Teens are urged to keep track of the number of pages they read during the summer; prizes will be awarded to the two teens with the highest number of pages read, and in addition there will be a random drawing for two additional prizes.
