2013 R-P homecoming

The Rushford-Peterson Schools will celebrate Homecoming 2013 the week of September 16-21. The Presentation of the Royalty and the naming of the King and Queen will take place at an all-school assembly September 17 at 2:30 p.m. in the High School gymnasium. Parents and the general public are welcome.

The High School Homecoming pepfest will be September 19 at 8:25 a.m. in the gym. The Homecoming parade is September 20 at 2:30 p.m. The parade route will start at the High School and proceed south on Hwy. 43 into downtown Rushford and then go west on Stevens Avenue. The Homecoming football game will be September 20 at 7 p.m. versus the Kingsland Knights.

The Homecoming Dance and formal coronation of royalty will be September 21. The dance will be from 8 p.m. – 12 midnight. Admission cost to the dance is six dollars per person. Admission cost to the coronation only is one dollar.

Other activities throughout the week include varsity volleyball games; here on Monday vs Houston and home on Thursday vs Kingsland. Cross Country LARP invitational will be in Pine Island on Thursday and an invitational at St. Mary’s University on Saturday.

In addition to varsity sporting events, dress up days, class competitions, prizes, and non-varsity volleyball and football will be taking place. The Rushford-Peterson High School Student Council is coordinating all activities for Homecoming 2013.
