The Bierman family of rural Lanesboro, Minn. will lead the Ecumenical Worship Service during the Hesper-Mabel Steam Engine Days celebration. The Biermans consisting of Dad, Mom and four children, ages 12 to 18, have enjoyed playing and singing gospel music and sharing the message of salvation in the area for about five years.

They will share their message in word and music at 9:30 a.m., Sunday, September 8 on the Steam Engine grounds during the service sponsored by the Area Council of Churches and the Mabel Business Association. Everyone is encouraged to attend and participate in this time of worship and song.

An offering will be collected with the proceeds divided equally between the Gundersen Lutheran, Mayo Clinic and Winneshiek County Hospice programs.
