Creep Feeding is an important strategy for better pastures, healthier cows and an increased rate of gain on your calves. It maximizes muscle and bone growth in young calves while preventing early fat deposition.

Growers should consider creep feed for their calves to:

Reduce stress on grass

Reduce stress on cows

Add weight without adding fat

I recommend feeding pelleted RangeLand Calf Creep 14 during early season pasture and switching to Accuration Range 33 for late season. Accuration will help control intake and prevent digestive upsets. It optimizes the flow of nutrients to the digestive system, thereby increasing forage intake, overall utilization and cattle performance.
