Houston Nature Center

Have you shot a nice buck but don’t know how it compares to the record books? Join official measurer Craig Pierce from Lewiston, Minn. to see how a rack is properly scored. This program is a demonstration only, but feel free to bring along a rack (it doesn’t have to be huge), a ¼” tape measure, and a mechanical pencil if you’d like to try your hand at it. Paper and a pen for taking notes are also recommended. Craig will be able to provide information if you’re interested in further training.

This program is free and open to the public, but donations are welcome. The Houston Nature Center is location one block north of the intersection of Highways 16 and 76 in Houston, Minn. on West Plum Street in Trailhead Park. For more information contact the Nature Center at 507-896-4668 or nature@acegroup.cc.
