Protect your corn yield

Late planted corn and extended wet weather can affect your yields:

* Corn may pollinate when it's hotter

* Nitrogen may have been depleted

* Spindly stalks and lodging are more likely

* Late harvest could reduce grain fill time

Growers should scout fields and consider protecting yield potential with a fungicide and/or insecticide to:

* Protect against hotter temperatures at pollination

* Control late season diseases & decrease lodging

* Improve corn's stress tolerances

* Maximize corn's plant health and growth efficiencies

* Protect from silk-clipping insects

Does fungicide pay? Ask yourself how much stress this crop was under when it was planted. Then give me a call, and I can show you the data and help you select which fields are most at risk.
