The Lenora Pioneer Society invites people to come visit the historic Lenora United Methodist Church (1856) on Sunday, July 7 at 3pm to experience a visit from Rev. John Dyer --noted Methodist Circuit rider from the mid-1800’s. It will be a festive day at the old Lenora Church as Rev. Dyer comes to make his annual visit to the Lenora Church. There will be special music, a lot of singing, and ice cream and refreshments served. People will be brought up to date on renovation repair work on the 1856 church building as well as on the Lenora House next door.

Deteriorating window sills and trim repainting will be some of the main projects for this year at the old church as well as landscaping on the adjacent Lenora House.

The theme for the worship service will be: “Revival: Key to Survival.” A free-will offering will be received for work to be done at Lenora Church.
