Minnesota State High School Clay Target League Announces 2013 State Tournament Results.

Minneapolis/Saint Paul – The Minnesota State High School Clay Target League is proud to announce that 1,869 participated in

the 2013 State Tournament at Alexandria Shooting Park in Alexandria, Minnesota on June 7-9, 2013.

OVERALL HIGH GUN

“I would like to congratulate all champions, participants, parents, coaches, schools and sponsors for making the 2013 State

Tournament the best shooting sport event for student athletes in the country,” said Jim Sable, Executive Director of the

Minnesota State High School Clay Target League. “With 3,400 participating athletes in the spring League this year, and with

many more joining us next year, the Minnesota State High School Clay Target League will continue to introduce more young

people to shooting sports in an activity they will enjoy with their families for a lifetime,” Sable continues.

The Sportsman’s Guide is the State Tournament’s title sponsor and supporting sponsors include Holiday Stationstores, Federal

Premium Ammunition, Minnesota Youth Shooting Foundation, Pride Engineering, National Wild Turkey Federation, and Gander

Mountain.

The Minnesota State High School Clay Target League is a 501(c)(3) non-profit corporation and the independent provider of

shooting sports as an extra curricular coed activity to high schools for students in grades 6 through 12 who have earned their

Firearms Safety Certification. The Minnesota State High School Clay Target League has three priorities – safety, fun and

marksmanship – in that order.
