Arnold James “Arnie” Henke, 67, passed away Friday, March 15, 2013 at his residence in Thermopolis, Wyoming after a period of declining health.

Born July 8, 1945 in Preston, Minnesota, he was the son of James and Jean (Shaw) Henke. He attended Preston High School. He served in the United States Army, and was stationed in Korea in the 1960’s.

Arnie’s occupation for most of his life was as a self-employed plumber. He came to Thermopolis in the early 1980’s where he continued his plumbing business.

He enjoyed hunting, fishing and camping with his family.

Preceding him in death were his parents and a brother, Kenneth.

Survivors include his son, Carl; daughter, Linda (Colter) McCumber, both of Thermopolis; two grandchildren; brother, Jerry Henke of Fountain, Minn.; and a sister, Crystal (Ron) Schroeder of Preston, Minn.; sister-in-law, Jean Henke and her daughter, Mychelle of Chatfield, Minn.; cousin, Duane Fetterly of Wykoff, Minn.; two nieces and two nephews.

A graveside service will be held Sunday, April 7, 2013 at 2:30pm at Crownhill Cemetery in Preston, MN. Cremation has taken place.
