Some know her as “The Root Beer Lady,” others, the Florence Nightingale of the Boundary Waters Canoe Area. Dorothy Molter is a Northwood’s Minnesota icon. Hear about the making of the wilderness area as it pertained to her 57 year history on the Isle of Pines Resort on Knife Lake. Menu: “Taste of Northern Minnesota.” Cranberry and sunflower seed salad, pan-fried walleye, wild and long grain rice and lentil pilaf, root beer reduction glazed vegetable medley, build your own ultimate root beer float.
Eagle Bluff Environmental Learning Center’s Dinner on the Bluff is Saturday, March 2, 2013. Performance begins at 5:30pm with meal following afterwards. The cost is $20 per person, $25 week of event. www.eagle-bluff.org
