The Harmony Arts Board is sponsoring a Book Signing event on Saturday, February 23 at the Community Center, Meeting Room #1 from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. with an “Author Speak” time set for 1:30. Harmony native, Amy Hahn will be in town with two other writers, Rhonda Brutt and Rosemary Heim to share their stories regarding the newly released romance anthology Love in the Land of Lakes. These three are part of the seventeen writers/members of Midwest Fiction Writers who have created stories of romance in Minnesota for this new book.
When asked, Amy Hahn responded, “I’m looking forward to coming home and visiting with people from Harmony and the area. Everyone has always been supportive of my writing and I appreciate that very much. I’m also thrilled about sharing my latest releases, The Ice Carousel, Knight of the Amulet, and ‘Lira & Gavril’ which is my short story in Love in the Land of Lakes. I think Love in the Land of Lakes a great collection of romantic tales that readers will really enjoy. What’s not to love about it? All the stories are set in Minnesota and they all have a lake somewhere in the setting.” Amy Hahn has more future books in the works.
Rhonda Brutt is an author of young adult paranormal romance books. She writes in her blog, “I enjoy lots of different topics and subjects, even if they’re not writing related. Not much is off limits for me, so you’ve been warned! Life is just too short not to have a little fun!” She lives in Minneapolis.
Rosemary Heim is a romance writer who is a native of St Charles, Minn. She now lives in the Twin Cities region and has been published by Harlequin Intrigue series.
Books will be available for purchase at this event from the authors. Refreshments will be provided by the Harmony Arts Board.
