Dorian Honor Band students from Fillmore Central announced

The FCHS Band Department is proud to announce that the following students have been selected to participate in the 2013 Dorian Honor Band at Luther College on Sunday, February 24 and Monday, February 25.
Approximately 625 musicians are chosen to participate in the Dorian Band Festival. Students are placed in of three festival bands: two Festival Massed Bands and the select Festival Symphonic Band. The Symphonic Band consists of the 70-80 students who audition for chair placement upon their arrival for the Festival. All three band perform a mass Finale concert at the Center for Faith and Life on Monday evening.
Selected to participate from Fillmore Central this year are:
•“Bulldog” Band:
Ruth Delano, clarinet
Danielle Zinsmaster -Tenor Sax
•“Bronco” Band:
Kerri Dornink, trumpet
Alex Lange, trumpet
Alex Scrabeck -Trombone
Morgan Malley - Percussion
•Symphonic Band:
Gwen Petrillo, Flute
Vaughan Schmidt, Upright Bass
Nick Powell, Percussion
Student’s music and info will be sent home as soon as it arrives! Congratulations to all who were selected!
