The Rushford Area Society of the Arts (RASA), in cooperation with the Southeastern Minnesota Arts Council, Inc., is celebrating their 30th anniversary with the production of Lie, Cheat, and Genuflect, a comedy written by William Van Zandt and Jane Milmore. Andrew Mackenzie and Casey Howe play two brothers who are down on their luck. They come up with one crazy scheme after another in order to procure the money they need to pay off a loan shark. Also included in the cast are: Freddy Scaife as the young lawyer; Dee Jackson as the elderly maid of the manse; Kristin Ekern as Jane the nurse; Burt Svendsen as the loan shark; Maureen Pronschinske as his secretary; and Morgan McManimon-Myers as the mystery girl. Director Beth McManimon was thrilled to work with such an energetic, imaginative cast. If you could use a good laugh, plan to attend the show. Performances will be July 14, 15, and 16th at 7:00 PM, and July 17 and 18th at 2:00 PM. The shows will be presented at the Rushford-Peterson High School theater, which is air conditioned! Tickets are $9.00 each and will be available at Rushford Foods or through the reservation number: 507-864-7525.
