Mary Lou Nagel
Mary Lou Nagel, 68, of Harmony, died Tuesday, January 1, 2013, at St. Mary’s Hospital Rochester.
Mary Lou was born February 17, 1944 in Preston, the daughter of Norris and Doris (Wissing) Nagel. She attended Prairie Queen country school in rural Preston. She was a resident of Harmony for most of her adult life. Her special home was the Harmony Group Home where she resided for over 17 years.
Mary Lou was a lifetime member of the Greenleafton Reformed Church, an avid Minnesota Vikings fan, and she enjoyed her life and family and outings with her group home family.
She is survived by two brothers, Don (Joyce), Jerry (Judy), of Preston; one sister, Carol (John) Overland of Lanesboro. Also surviving are many nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents and an infant brother, Arthur.
Funeral services were held at Saturday, January 5, 2013, at the Greenleafton Reformed Church with Pastor Roger Lokker officiating. Burial was in the Greenleafton Cemetery rural Preston.
