To the Editor,
Thursday, November 15 is the 4th annual “Give To The Max Day.” This is a day when Minnesotans come together to donate online to non-profits and charities. Habitat for Humanity Winona-Fillmore Counties will once again be participating.
Habitat for Humanity Winona-Fillmore Counties, through the generosity of various community donors, has already received $10,000 in matching funds for Give To The Max Day donations. This means that the first $10,000 we receive in donations will be matched dollar for dollar. Don’t miss out on this amazing opportunity to double your donation! Donors can log on to the website, www.habitatwinona.org, and click the “donate now” button on November 15 to participate in Give To The Max Day.
Last year, more than 47,000 individual donors logged on all over Minnesota and gave more than $13 million to nearly 4,000 Minnesota charities and non-profits in 24 hours. I encourage you to become one of these donors on November 15. A gift of any size is a gift that will help Habitat complete the three houses currently under construction. These homes will impact the lives of the five adults and 10 children who will live and thrive in them for years to come. Your investment in our work will open doors of opportunity and windows of hope for families who need a hand-up, not a hand out, and a better place to live.
Please, help us reach our goal of raising $20,000 on Give To The Max Day. Habitat for Humanity Winona-Fillmore Counties, along with our partner families, thank you.
