The Falcon Scholar Club was formed to recognize academic excellence. The criteria to become a club member are to maintain a 3.5 grade point average or higher with an all grades being a “C” or better for the previous school year. Therefore, only 10-12 graders are able to be members. A student must also be enrolled as a full time Fillmore Central High School student.
The Falcon Scholar Club Program will take place Monday, November 19 at 9:10 a.m. in the high school gymnasium. In case of a snow day, the program will be held on Nov. 20 at 9:10 a.m. Please note that this date has changed from the school calendar.
This year’s guest speaker will be Emily Torgrimson. Emily is the founder of Eat for Equity, a non-profit organization which hosts monthly benefit dinners for a variety of charitable causes. Emily is a 2002 graduate of Fillmore Central High School.
The public is welcome to attend.
