Brad Hoiness, Todd Himlie, and Steve Lea of Rushford Foods IGA in Rushford, Minn. were honored with an award on Friday, September 21, 2012, in Omaha, Nebraska at the Century Link Center in conjunction with the 81st Annual Affiliated Foods Midwest (AFM) Fall Food Show. Rushford Foods IGA was proudly recognized with the IGA Hometown Proud Award among a crowd of fellow retailers, vendors, and Affiliated Foods Midwest Management and staff. The IGA Hometown Proud award is handed out for outstanding support of the IGA brand and programs.
Martin W. Arter, Affiliated Foods Midwest President/CEO states, “These retailers have reached new heights by developing and enhancing their services, store, or performance and we were very excited to honor them this year.”
Affiliated Foods Midwest is a member-owned cooperative providing independent grocers with a full range of foods, supermarket supplies, and services throughout several states in the Midwest. AFM is a member of the Topco Cooperative, the 2nd largest procurer of grocery goods in the United States.
