Chatfield, MN: Wits’ End Theatre presents ”Sir Grayson the Grey Knight and the Seven Shady Women” as part of their 3rd Annual Medieval Feast. Show dates are November 15-16-17, 6:30 PM at Potter Auditorium, Chatfield Center for the Arts, 405 Main Street S, Chatfield, Minnesota.
In this medieval fairy tale, the Grey Knight escapes execution by the tender-hearted huntsman assigned to the task. Abandoned in the forest, the Grey Knight has two options: to travel to the cottage of the Seven Dwarves – dirty men who live in squalid conditions and work all day in a mine; or the cottage of the Seven Average-Sized Women who are all beautiful maids in need of rescue by a knight. After some consideration, the Grey Knight opts for the women. Sadly, the Seven Average-Sized Women have been enchanted: each can only speak one phrase, and it’s up to the Grey Knight to solve the riddle, or end up enchanted himself!
Catering the evening will be Old Tyme Café, a local restaurant with a regional reputation for great steaks and ribs. The generously-sized meal includes orchid salad with raspberry vinaigrette, barbeque ribs, chutney stuffed chicken breast, roast potatoes, corn, cheesecake dessert, coffee and wassail. Wine, beer and soft drinks are available to purchase. Tickets can be purchased online at Witsendtheatre.org, or by calling the box office number: 507-867-8780. The ticket price for the dinner theater is $30. Tickets are advance sale only, with sales ending November 12, 2012.
